Gmail Now Has New Emojis and Themes
It seems that Gmail is used by virtually everyone these days. Thanks to Google it has even more features than ever. Let’s look at a two:
Emojis are the successor to emoticons. They can say in pictures what is difficult to put into words. Just take a look. There are more than I can count – ready and available for your use.
To insert an emoji, just click the little face in the footer in your Compose window and choose the one(s) you want. Google should have completed their rollout of these by the time you read this.
Can you tell a complete story with just these little pictures?
Themes also abound now on Gmail. You can also customize the theme using simple editing tools.
To select a theme:
- Click the gear – top right (Settings)
- Select Themes
- Select a theme using one of your images, or select custom themes at the bottom for even more options.
